PROJECT LOCATION Whitegate
LCS had the pleasure of collaborating with United Utilities on the (WwTw) project in Whitegate throughout 2024. LCS played a key role in the high-level installation of drainage systems and have been heavily involved in the ECI and design for the works. With the project now successfully completed. LCS extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to its success.
“We were offered a great opportunity to work with United Utilities back in May 2024, where we were able to be involved with the Whitegate WWTW Project. The plan was to install 2 number, Fuji clean CRX50 unit’s of which was the first of its kind in the UK and deals with P removal. At first, it was a tall order to get 2 10m long tanks down a country lane and installed within a cofferdam in a very tight site. From May 2024, we have been heavily involved of the ECI and design for the works and had to complete some early works also, to gain access into the site in preparation of the installation. 7 months later and we are at the final stages of commissioning, PIU and turning flows. Great amount of thanks to United Utilities, Matt Steer, Simon Weatherup, Haywood and Jackson, Haigh, Aquardia, John Sutch Cranes and Austin Lenika.” - Jon Barnes, LCS Project Manager
