Margaret’s Great North Swim 2022 for Macmillan Cancer Support!
LCS are proud to be sponsoring our very own Margaret Shaw, Director Leon’s mum, on her journey to raise awareness and funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, as she wants to give back to the charity that helped and supported her so much during her own battle with Liver & Bowel Cancer.
The Challenge - Great North Swim 2022
Margaret has decided to challenge herself, taking part in the Great North Swim 2022 and completing the 1 mile long swim of Lake Windermere! The swim takes place on June 12th and Margaret has been training for the swim for around 6 months, pushing to complete around 66 lengths at least twice per week.
Macmillan Cancer Support
The support and help that Macmillan Cancer Support provided Margaret with during her tough battle with cancer has resulted in Margaret wanting to give back to the charity to ensure that people in similar situations receive the support they need and deserve!
